endeavor not to dispense but to Go green; The tour gives you a chance
to Co-create and chat with the Nature:
Day 1 On arrival, you will be met and transfer to Nairobi Hotel
For Dinner and Overnight.
Day
2
After breakfast we leave for the vast Kikuyu country to a community based
conservation area in Mt Kenya / Aberdare area a base camp which will make
you interact with the local conservationist. You will participate in various
activities including planting trees and getting involved in any local
activity taking place. You will mingle with the local native and be amazed
at the great work in conservation of the water catchment's area . Dinner
and Overnight at Eco Tourism Base camp
Day
3: Have a short staff-guided nature trail walk that will provide you
with an opportunity to see unique caves, sacred sites, wildlife
.and
a great variety of bio diversity.
All meals and activities. Accommodation in camps /Bandas with communal
ablution facilities. You will engage in various income generating activities
for the locals in their conservation endeavors.
Day 4: After an early morning breakfast depart for Tree Hotel
in the Aberdare /Mt Kenya National Park. The Tree Hotel are located in
indigenous forest in the foothills of Mount Kenya National Park. You are
likely to see elephant and buffalo along the scenic road. Overnight Mountain
Lodge /Tree tops or similar
Day 5: After breakfast we depart for Kaka mega via the Rift Valley.
Forest in Western Kenya is a superb slab of virgin tropical rainforest
in the heart of an intensively cultivated agricultural area. It is home
to a huge variety of birds and animals. Only in this forest can you find
the rare De Brazza monkey. Overnight in Rondo Retreat Centre. ( operated
by the Trinity Fellowship.) It is set in beautiful gardens in the middle
of the Kakamega forest. Guided walks for bird watching as several exotic
species of birds found in the Kakamega Forest are not seen anywhere else
in Kenya.Kakamega forest is a home of the great blue Turacco and re- known
for the greatest variety of birds. Overnight at Rondo Retreat Centre
Day
6: Leave Kakamega forest passing through the White Highlands for
Lake Nakuru for Game Drive and Lunch. You will by pass the great panoramic
view of the tea estate and there after arrive At Lake Nakuru -home to
a million or more flamingoes and other animals. Dinner and overnight at
Lion Hill or we travel further south to for an overnight at Elsamere.
Elsamere Conservation Centre was once a home of Joy Adamson of Born Free
fame. The conservation centre is beautifully situated under huge old trees
on a grassy slop at the edge of Naivasha.
All meals and Overnight at Lodge.
Day
7: After breakfast we depart from the Hotel for a journey south along
the floor of the Great Rift Valley and then climb the western wall entering
the Maasai Mara national Reserve-The Majestic Mara. After lunch at the
camp and afternoon break we enter the Mara Game reserve for the afternoon
game drive.
The famous Mara is renowned for its herds of plains game, black-maned
lion, leopard and cheetah. Dinner and Overnight at a Tented Camp
Day 8 A full day spent in the Mara and on this day we visit the
Mara river for its abundant Hippo and crocodile of course not forgetting
the variety of bird life.
All meals at our Eco- camp where facilities are communal and overnights
are spent in 2 men tents with Maasai Guides keeping a watch against animal
intervention.
Day 9: After breakfast we leave for a 3 hours walk excursion through
the Mara homestead with an expert Maasai Guide who will explain the flora
and fauna and also the footprints track of the animals. One has to be
careful and observant as Elephants and Buffaloes are frequent walking
companions at a distance. After the walk we check in a lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at one of the Camp/ Lodge
Day 10: We leave Masai Mara behind returning back to Nairobi .
